Spray Spray Spray
Posted under PersonalDecided to give "Kangeroo" a small makeover since she has turned 5 last month. After all these years of enduring the hash weather, going to every place the owner wanted, it’s time she gets her birthday present.
Items required for her makeover:
- 3 Cans of Aerosol Paints (Metallic Black, Metallic Silver, Clear)
- 2 Rolls of Masking Tape
- Lots of newspaper
- 2-3 Hours<
Metallic Black for all the plastic parts on the exterior of "Kangeroo"

Metallic Silver for the rims. The last can of Clear paint is used to spray over whatever was sprayed. It serves as a protection for the underlying paint.

Lots of newspaper to cover up areas that are not supposed to be sprayed painted!

The old and dull rim before it was sprayed painted.

Lots of Newspaper used to cover up the areas except the rims. Lots of masking tape used too. This is very time consuming!

The plastic part of the exterior before it is sprayed. There are streaks of white lines on it. It had lost it’s original dark and deep black colour

Notice the white streaks that appeared?

After spray multiple coats this is the end result! Looks like brand new rims. It really glitters under the sun as it is metallic paint.

Glittering black when seen in real life. All the white streaks line are gone. Looks like brand new.

Even sprayed the side mirror cover so that it matches all the plastic on the van.

This is only 1/3 of all the newspaper used.
