Mid-Autumn Festival

This is my first ever Mid-Autumn Festival with Daddy and Mummy. How time flies… I have spent 11 months here and am being provided with the best! Here’s what we have done last Sunday, 14 Sept 2008 - Mid-Autumn Festival.

Daddy took 1 lantern from home and lighted it up.

3 of us went out for a walk with Daddy carrying the only lantern and a few new candles. Once we reached the playground, we found 1 more lantern that was left behind. As it is still relatively new, Daddy lighted it for Mummy. Now I have two of them shining the way for me! Of cos I do not need to carry anything….

At another playground, they found 2 more lanterns and more new candles. They lighted up everything, changed the burnt out candles and now we have a total of 4 lanterns.

After our evening walk, we went back home and Daddy left the lanterns at the corridor.. Everything was fine initially… Until a sudden gust of wind caused the lanterns to burn!! Before Daddy could put out the fire, his slippers has fallen victim to the fire.

So sad for Daddy.

Anyway let me share with you the rest of the lanterns my Grandma put at home. I love the many colours of lanterns! Who says dogs are colour-blind!

It’s been a long evening…… I am going to sleep with my favo rainbow ball. Good night!
